When a trio of hot Filipino babes walked onto the stage of Britain’s Got Talent – there was no question a sizzling performance was in store. As it turns out though, their act had quite a twist too.
The group, who calls themselves Miss Tres, had jaws falling to the floor only moments into singing “Sex Bomb.” You’ll soon realize why their audition went viral has been watched more than 26 million times!
Miss Tres really knows how to capture a crowd’s attention. All three members stepped in front of the judges wearing short sparkly dresses and stiletto heels.
While it wasn’t known at the time what their act was – probably for some viewers, it really didn’t matter.
In their interview, they revealed they were from the Philippines and had a dream to be like Destiny’s Child or the Spice Girls. That’s right, it was a “girl-power” singing ensemble.
There was no doubt these ladies had the sexy looks to be a female pop-group. But did they have the talent to back it up?
All the members of Miss Tres quickly took their positions for their rendition of Tom Jones’ “Sex Bomb.” Moments later the first singer unleashed her voice – and let’s just say she threw everyone for a loop.
Instead of a feminine sound, the woman had a masculine, soulful voice similar to Jones himself. Some of the looks on people’s faces were priceless.
The other women danced along while she sang her part of the steamy track. Eventually, another member took center stage and it was her turn to belt out the lyrics…
And yep, her voice was as deep and rich as her bandmates’! Come on, is there something going on here?
She sings:
“Sex bomb, sex bomb, you’re my sex bomb
And baby you can turn me on”
It’s an epic performance that has you dancing in your chair. Miss Tres is made up of excellent performers with vocals that are impressive, to say the least.
After getting everyone all worked up, their audition comes to an end and they’re given a standing ovation from the crowd.
Simon had just one question though.
He asks the group:
“Were you hiding a little secret from us at the beginning?”
One of the singers then responds, “Guess what, Simon?” Her voice then goes deep again as she exclaims, “Surprise!”
Miss Tres is a transgender musical group that’s won hearts around the world. During the time of the audition, it consisted of members Mariko, Crissy, and Mavey.
The reason they decided to appear on BGT wasn’t just for fame though. According to the Mirror, their inspiration developed after losing group member Mia Narciso (AKA: Romeo) to lung cancer in 2016.
On Facebook, they posted:
“To be honest, we did BGT not because of exposure, but to continue giving entertainment and to inspire most especially our LGBT community and above all to continue the legacy we started with our beloved brother Mia Narciso.
The writer also shared:
“I promised him/her that we would continue all our dreams not for ourselves but for our brothers and sisters in the LGBT community.”
By no surprise, the group’s spicy performance earned them four “yeses” from the panel of judges. On top of that, it also set the internet on fire gathering millions and millions of views.
