The best musicians can play music on just about anything and this video proves it. Legendary guitarist Zakk Wylde is best known as the lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne’s band, but he goes viral in this video for rocking out on a Hello Kitty guitar.
It’s hard to believe that’s a toy guitar he’s shredding on!
For those who don’t know, Zakk Wylde made his claim to fame when he landed a spot as lead guitarist in Ozzy Osbourne’s band in 1987.
After that, he went on to form the popular metal band Black Label Society in 1998.
In this funny but amazing video, Wylde hops on his Hello Kitty mini-guitar and begins playing “N.I.B.” by Black Sabbath.
Hilarious rock and roll Hello Kitty characters pop onto the screen as he thrashes the tiny pink and black acoustic guitar.
Wylde also sings the words to “N.I.B.” while he furiously plays the chords on his adorable guitar.
Seeing Wylde with his long beard and leather biker gear, you’d think he’d sooner be in an episode of Sons Of Anarchy before playing a pink Hello Kitty guitar…but people are always surprising.
Wylde gets super deep as he plays the Black Sabbath song, closing his eyes as the camera zooms in for a close-up shot of the burly musician.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, Wylde pushes the Hello Kitty guitar to its maximum abilities!
You can barely even tell that he’s playing this on what’s practically a toy guitar—the way he manages to get such great sound out of the little instrument is mind-boggling.
Wylde isn’t the only famous musician to jam out on a Hello Kitty guitar.
As it turns out, the Tremonti band also did a cover for the Loudwire YouTube channel in which they played “Welcome Home (Sanitarium)” by Metallica on the toy guitars.
It’s incredible what these talented artists can do with the Hello Kitty Guitars, as both Tremonti band and Zakk Wylde absolutely kill it!

The heavy metal legend blazes through the last chords of “N.I.B.,” showing why rock stars like Ozzy Osbourne were quick to pay notice to his skills.
Nothing could stop Wylde once he gets going on the guitar—he’s one of those musicians that gets entranced by the music he’s playing.
People on the internet couldn’t get enough of the fantastic Hello Kitty cover performance, and millions of viewers from all around the world turned out to watch Wylde rock it on the toy guitar.
The video of Wylde playing Black Sabbath on a Hello Kitty guitar has been viewed over 11.9 million times, with 238,000 people hitting the like button.
Over 10,000 YouTube users also left comments for Wylde, and many were in disbelief that he could play so well on such a little pink guitar.
Wylde is in a league of his own when it comes to the guitar, which makes it easy to see why so many people loved this performance.
