Towels have been the saving grace for many an awkward situation. Those thin, white linens have provided a refuge for many men and women to hide behind over the years, usually in predicaments that will haunt their dreams forever!
What is the best way to get over embarrassing moments in our lives?
Humor! If you can laugh about something, you are 90% of the way to getting over it. Comedy is an essential part of how we live our lives because it lets us look at the tough things in a different light.
That comedic sense and our unpleasant experiences with being exposed with a towel all came together to make this hilarious dance!
The “Handtuch-Tanz” is a German dance that has garnered millions of views because of its hilarious approach to the relationship we have with towels! It literally translates as “the towel dance,” and you will understand why after watching it.
The dance starts with an older man walking out on a stage with nothing but a towel!
Well, walking isn’t exactly right. The man prances out on the stage, and he is covered by nothing more than a white towel! He doesn’t even have it wrapped around him but instead holds it in front like a white screen blocking his untanned areas.
As the crowd cheers and laughs, the man makes some funny moves!
The crowd is losing their mind as the man makes an absolute spectacle of himself. At any given moment, you are sure that he is about to drop the towel and completely expose himself.
Flipping and spinning the towel, the man plays a dangerous game.
More than just dancing with a towel around his waist, the man actually tosses the towel in a way that he is still covered by it, but if he drops it, he’s doomed. One small slip and the world knows all there is to know about him!
After a few seconds, another man joins him.
Dancing in unison, they very nearly expose themselves over and over again! Every time a bit of skin is shown further than expected, the crowd cheers like they are watching a remake of Magic Mike!
Dancing and laughing around, the two are in unison until the very end.
Splitting up, the older man looks at the newcomer and rips his towel away from him! The hilarity ensues as the gentleman reaches up to one of the judges and grabs a kerchief from him. With only a small 1×1 square covering his regions, the man seems stuck!
Thankfully, the other gentleman decides to have pity and they share a towel!
Walking off the stage in their shared towel, you can’t help but laugh at how goofy they are! We have no idea how they placed in the competition, but we DO know that their mothers and wives were blushing whenever they saw the performance for the first time!
