Since the Disney film was released there’s one particular song that continued to ring through everyone’s ears. You know the one. I don’t even have to name it. Here’s a clue: it rhymes with “Bet it’s low” or “Set it slow”…
…or… “I don’t know”, which happens to be the med school themed parody we’ve all been waiting for!
It’s a hilarious take on med student life, set to the tune of Frozen’s big hit song, and it is hilarious even for those who have not been subject to the trials and tribulations of becoming a doctor.
The video features a variety of scenarios med students experience.
When you’re an inexperienced student trying to learn everything there is about the medical profession, life can be pretty hectic. If this video is to be believed, a great portion of it is spent scratching your head and looking for answers. According to the video’s viewers, it hits the nail on the head!

The talent front-and-center in this awesome video is Beanie Meadow, who wrote and sung the vocals.
Many, (and I mean MANY of the comments on this video are preoccupied with her vocal talent. She does have incredible vocal range and she truly is a fantastic singer.

We get a peak inside a doctor’s life too.
It’s no secret that being a doctor is a high pressure job, and of course nobody is being fooled when the doctor disappears to another room, then returns with a diagnosis. But do they really hop on Web MD for answers?! I’m going to assume that’s 100% a joke… or rather I’ll HOPE it is!
It’s not only Beanie doing a great job, but there’s an ensemble cast who all make the video what it is.
There are several funny characters throughout the clip, including but not limited to a senior doctor, a patient and a full cast of other med students. Every one of them is funny and it’s hard to believe these are all genuine med students and not drama students.
Now that’s comedy!
Everybody who features in this video is fully committed to the bit. They have incredible comedic timing to complement the hilarious parody lyrics.
Anybody who has ever obsessively studied the works of Weird Al (not me, why, who said that was me?)…
…would know that writing a good parody song isn’t just a case of hashing up a few replacement words, you have to abide by the structure of the original song, and completely re-write it to that format. And this crew of talented people have done an outstanding job, especially Beanie.
One thing that is clear is that the entire cast had a blast making this video. They seem to be having the time of their lives and you’d imagine that this would be such a cathartic expression of their day-to-day hard work as med students.
