The boys begin by donning large gold chains and dancing around to Bruno Mars.

It becomes evident very quickly that they aren’t just ordinary kids—they’re kids who’ve got the moves! Twirling, sliding, and spinning, they take center stage on the street. The crowd looks on with awe and amazement, some even clapping along to the beat.

The song changes and the boys put on masks and Santa hats.

The music fades into a trap rendition of “Jingle Bells” and the boys seemingly absorb the shock of the beat in their bodies, putting out fluid dance moves. Their routine is welcomed by the crowd’s cheers.

In another turn of events, the music morphs into LMFAO and the boys pull props to disguise themselves as members of the band. Adorably, they begin to roam around the crowd, lip-syncing and dancing next to random ladies as “Sexy and I Know It” pulses out of their speakers.

You may be wondering: just who are these talented street-dancing boys?

Jedd Berina started dancing when he just two. According to the now 11-year-old, his first dance teacher was a Nintendo Wii. He began using the Wii game the Michael Jackson Experience to casually teach himself how to dance, eventually taking formal lessons when his interest became a passion.

Both of Jedd’s parents believed in him from the start, always knowing he was meant to dance. Jedd took an early interest in the street performers on the Santa Monica pier, and soon enough his mother got him a permit to street-perform on his own. At the same time, she purchased a permit for his younger six-year-old brother, Jace.

Naturally, Jace began to copy his brother’s moves—and soon they had an act of their own called the Mashup Kids.

They chose the moniker Mashup Kids because they’re able to mashup all kinds of dance moves into one fluid show. Jedd has gotten much attention for his seamless dance moves, appearing on television for a three part spot on Kababayan Today.

Jedd reveals that his all-time idol is Michael Jackson, and that his favorite dance move is the Moonwalk.
