Some songs almost require you to dance to them. These classic hits have something special about their lyrics and rhythms that just encourages you to get up and dance! When these songs come on, its game time. No matter who is around, its time to dust off the shoes and let some dance moves rip.
For one guy, that moment went viral.
T in the Park was a Scottish music festival that ran for a span of years. Held in Strathclyde Park, Lanarkshire, the event featured artists and crowds of people from around the world. One man in attendance at the event decided that he was going to dance during an interval – unbeknownst to him, that moment would go viral!
When we first see our dancer, we can see he is ready to rock.
You can just tell when someone is in the dancing spirit. Maybe it’s the way they walk, maybe it’s the clothes they wear, but they just have a special aura about them. Fred Rawicz was the man in question that we first see at the start of the video. Wearing a tank top, colorful jacket around the waist, and a headband, Fred is ready to go.
Once the music starts, you understand the urge to dance.
As one of the classic “I MUST DANCE” songs, “Uptown Funk” deserves the fast-moving feet of Fred’s skills. When the music starts, however, everything seems relatively normal. With Fred swaying from side to side, it just looks like he is having a bit of fun, not that he is about to wow the entire crowd!
When Fred hits his first move, the crowd starts to notice.
One man dancing at a music festival is nothing to stare at. One “Fred” dancing, however, is worth the time! Once the lyrics “Don’t believe me? Just watch!” hit, Fred drops into a semi-split and pops back up like a pro!
Once he does a full drop and pops back up to continue dancing, people can’t help but cheer!
Kicking his legs up in the air and jumping around, Fred has some serious suave as he shows off his skills. Even as he continues to dance, more and more people stop to watch the hilarious performance. At one point, he even takes off his sweatshirt for the extra mobility!
Fred is the kind of guy that everyone wants to invite to the party!
It looks like Fred is always the life of the party (and probably the king of the dance floor!) Who doesn’t love having a hilarious guy like this hanging around at whatever gathering you are planning? Essentially, we all need a Fred in our life!
As the video ends, we see the crowd that Fred has gathered to watch him dance!
As the crowd grows, the song gets closer to the end. As the last seconds tick by, Fred has one more trick up his sleeve. With the final words and last notes of the song ringing out. Fred does a full drop! Free-falling to the ground like a stone, he immediately spurs the crowd to clapping and cheering, all of which he deserves! His super moves have gotten him almost 14 million views!
