The Voice, a popular singing competition, has numerous versions worldwide, but not many are aware that its roots trace back to Holland.

This element of surprise was on full display during a recent audition by a remarkably talented contestant named Dwight Dissels.
Like any other contestant, Dwight walked onto the stage while all the judges had their backs turned.
As the drummer onstage struck a four-count rhythm, Dissels began his performance.
