It’s been 13 years since the king of pop passed away, but no one is forgetting him anytime soon. His sound is timeless, as are his moves.
Cultural trends have come and gone. We’ve seen the rise and fall of things like Vine, Musically, and any number of artists. But Michael Jackson’s legacy just doesn’t have any plans of leaving us anytime soon.

This man on TikTok got a lot of attention for his voice being darn near identical to MJ’s.
That high-pitched, soft-sounding but ever-powerful voice is pretty hard to get. MJ had that soft voice since his childhood, and he seems to have done voice modulation to maintain it. Seems like he didn’t want to lose that range.
And it seems to have worked. The iconic “Hee hee” or “AOW!” just wouldn’t sound the same if they were deeper in pitch. MJ’s vocal range was at least 4 octaves.
Anyone who’s tried to sing along with MJ will know just how difficult it is. He can hit those powerful highs, and some pretty good lows too.
Brandon Conway’s gift is that he sounds just like MJ, and he’s got quite the following on TikTok now.
The video that started it all was a cover of “The Way You Make Me Feel”.
He filmed it in a parking lot of all places. But the venue doesn’t matter when your voice is this good!
While he does sing at proper venues now and then, he does his covers mainly from his living room.
And his living room is full of vinyl records in the back. There’s no mistaking here. Brandon lives and breathes music.
It would be pretty boring if he only covered one song, wouldn’t it? It’s a good thing he didn’t stop at one.
Brandon also has some really nice covers of “Human Nature,” “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You,” and of course “Billie Jean.”
It sounds so uncanny too. Close your eyes and it’ll just sound like MJ himself performing it in the studio.
And though he only films them on his phone, that doesn’t make them any less of a treat to watch.
But just having MJ’s voice is no good if you don’t know how to use it. Good thing Brandon’s skill is commendable on its own.

Brandon has also covered Aerosmith. As I said, he’s an impressive singer on his own even without sounding like MJ.
Definitely the kind of guy you’d want to see performing at the pub!
We’re never forgetting MJ’s music anytime soon, that’s for sure. Brandon isn’t even the first Michael Jackson sound-alike to make the news. Another MJ sound-alike, Jeffrey Perez, also garnered quite a following years ago for his spot-on MJ voice impressions.
