His act is so unexpected and hilarious.

After he appears in his yellow bathrobe, it’s obvious that the video is going to be either an absolute hit or a total disaster. What’s even stranger is that it seems like the whole thing was recorded in his kitchen, which is proof that we can’t choose where and when inspiration will strike. In a sense, you could say that there’s some sonic cooking going on—and we like the taste of the funk. Rebillet puts his tunes together from scratch on the spot and does it with panache. His funk trunk has it all: a lot of shaker, electric piano, some bass and a catchy rhythm.

The whole thing is a little tutorial for all the viewers out there stuck at home.

Rebillet made this video even more interesting by adding descriptions of the things he does in big, bold letters.

The impressive part of it all is that he pulls of something incredible in two minutes, and it feels like a studio would take much longer to produce a similar piece. The video is sure to make viewers laugh and groove at the same time. This man somehow manages to be cool and funny and weird all at once.

Still, the best part is Rebillet’s singing.

Rebillet spends about a minute mixing the sounds and making things perfect before he grabs the mic.

Before he starts, a caption flashes across the screen:

“Time to ruin it with my stupid voice.”

As it turns out, though, his singing abilities are amazing! He is spontaneous, natural and relaxed as he sings, and his joy is totally contagious. People in the comments section were sounding off on how much they loved his performance.

Rebillet genuinely means his every move, and he rocks his style perfectly. This video could’ve been two hours long and we’d still watch it until the end!

In a time when a lot of people are stressed out, this video is a much-needed relief.
