Marriage proposals are exciting. People go through a lot just to make sure that their intimate moment unfolds perfectly. Some plan skydive surprises while others choose to pop the big question near the beach or over a romantic dinner. A man named Bharat figured the best way to propose to his girlfriend.
He didn’t think of doing it near over sunset or during a romantic date. He decided to do the bended-knee gesture in public.
The proposal happened during a wedding festival in Leicester Square.
Bharat’s girlfriend Romi was in London to meet up with a friend. She thought it was just going to be a normal day in the busy Leicester Square. It was Christmas season so the area was filled with so many people.
Then, a random couple approached her to take their photo.
She politely agreed and took their camera. Little did she know they were part of her boyfriend’s public proposal.
Behind the couple was a man wearing a blue hoodie.
He was busting some serious dance moves. Even though he looked odd dancing as shoppers walked by, Romi didn’t seem to notice.
A few seconds later, two women joined the man.
And from there, more people joined and a synchronized dance started. Clearly, something big was about to happen.
Soon, the group busted some serious old school busting moves.
They quickly caught everyone’s attention. Even Romi couldn’t stop watching them. Like everyone, she was in awe of the group’s performance.
The group of 8 dancers moved away.
When they came back, they were donning white masks. That’s when another person joined the performance.
The 9th person got some serious dance skills.
Even the group was amazed by his moves. He made the performance even more surprising when he revealed his true identity.
Romi was shocked to see his boyfriend!
She had no idea that he was in the country. More importantly, she had no idea about the surprise he pulled off just for her.
Bharat went down on one knee and took out a ring.
At this point, everyone in the busy area stopped what they were doing and cheered Bharat. Romi happily said yes and wore the ring Bharat offered her. Indeed, it was a very memorable moment for the two and everyone who witnessed the public proposal.
The couple’s video easily went viral.
