Most artists are unassuming until they show off their craft. This has been the life of content creator Aurélien Froissart who always sits at displayed pianos in stores.

He shares joy through impromptu concerts, which leaves audiences impressed and surprised.

But this is just half of the beauty of his performance because there are times when other artists collaborate with him, treating everyone to a spectacle they’ll never forget.

Froissart was playing with a store piano this particular day.

It was just another performance for him and another day to make the shop’s patrons’ day a little bit better. He plays the song “Habanera,” one of the most recognizable opera songs in history.

Then, as he played, a middle-aged man approached him. With a gentle tap, he asked Froissart if he wanted him to sing the piece.

These are just some of the moments that Froissart lives for.

With a little chat on how the arrangement would go, Froissart sat back down and prepared for the mini-concert.

The man sang the words with so much grace and clarity and they were enough to make the shopgoers stop and take their phones out.

The song is meant for a woman singer and is sung at a higher octave, but this man did his version so well that some commenters said it was the moment they realized this version of the song could exist.

Froissart’s artistic life started when he was young.

According to the biography he shared on his YouTube page, he was born in Paris and started his musical journey at the age of 12.

He then graduated with the highest honors from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris in 2018. However, he has been joining competitions since 2009 and has won 11 national and international awards.

His goal with his content on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram is to make classical music approachable to the general public.

He has since gained more than a million followers across his social media accounts.

His talent can clearly be seen in how he adjusted his playing style.

Without prior practice with the man, it is impressive to see that they both know each other’s tempo and adlibs just by feeling each other’s way of performing.

He also noted that he deliberately played the song at a lower key because one of the keys of the supermarket’s piano isn’t working.

People all over the internet expressed their appreciation for the two.

“The man has a lovely voice, but what I love more is seeing the spontaneous interplay between the two musicians, each reading the other for the expressiveness of the piece,” said one commenter.

“I love how they both know there’s a slight tempo change coming up and telepathically bring both of themselves in and out of it back into the original tempo even though they have both never met each other in their life,” said another.

Their performance only goes to show the sheer power of music and how it can bring strangers together for a single moment of appreciation. As they say, music is a universal language.
