One of her fans asked that she turn herself into the “Mona Lisa.”

It was a pretty big challenge, but Yuya was happy to give it a try. The results are amazing. She completely transforms herself to look just like the painting. She explained:

“Once you see your face as a blank piece of paper, the opportunities are endless.”

People couldn’t believe how amazing she looked. It was hard to tell her apart from the painting. She even showed them how she did it, so there was no questioning if it really happened or if she was using a filter or some photo editing software to make it look like a real photo.

The “Mona Lisa” is one of the most famous and well-known paintings in the world.

According to Everything Explained:

“Leonardo da Vinci is thought by some to have begun painting the ‘Mona Lisa’ in 1503 or 1504 in Florence, Italy. Although the Louvre states that it was ‘doubtless painted between 1503 and 1506,’ the art historian Martin Kemp says there are some difficulties in confirming the actual dates with certainty. In addition, many Leonardo experts, such as Carlo Pedretti and Alessandro Vezzosi, are of the opinion that the painting is characteristic of Leonardo’s style in the final years of his life, post-1513. Other academics argue that, given the historical documentation, Leonardo would have painted the work from 1513. According to Leonardo’s contemporary, Giorgio Vasari, ‘after he had lingered over it four years, [he] left it unfinished.’ Leonardo, later in his life, is said to have regretted ‘never having completed a single work.’”

Even people who didn’t know anything about the famous painting now have an interest in it and in the makeup artist.

Yuya will no doubt be making plenty of other videos in the future. Will these ones be as popular as the “Mona Lisa” makeover? It’s hard to tell. One thing is for sure: This video sure did bring her a whole new audience.

“The response is just overwhelming. I appreciate all the support I’ve received and I’m so happy that viewers like the transformation.”

Everyone is excited to see what Yuya comes up with next. She can make pieces of art on her own face. That’s a pretty rare and impressive talent. Even Leonardo da Vinci would have been impressed by her video.
