A group of little girls aged five and six years old melted the hearts of many with their sweet and adorable performance of the song “Let It Go” from the movie Frozen. Their song and dance number was amazing and the kids totally floored their audience!
The talented girls who sang their own version of the Idina Menzel classic were kindergarten students from Chaparral Elementary in Calabasas, California. Despite their young ages, their performance level was undoubtedly high and their confidence and stage presence wowed everyone who was lucky enough to watch them live.
Much like Queen Elsa’s signature outfit in the movie, the children also wore matching blue shimmery dresses and glittery capes. In front of a backdrop showing a snowy mountain range, the girls stood in the dark as the opening score of the song played in the air. Little by little, the spotlight shone on the kids, until it was time for them to sing.
The moment the girls sang, everyone in the audience knew that they wouldn’t be able to look away. They were absolutely adorable! They moved their hands and made gestures as they sang the opening stanza, waving them and swaying to depict the lyrics of the song.
Their little voices were singing the song in a rather simple, yet sweet way, just like how you’d expect a little child to sing. This innocence in the way they sing only added to the charm of their performance and everyone was cheering them on.
To this, the kids responded with even more incredible singing, with matching poses and moves that are simply charming! It is obvious that they are taking their performance to heart, and it showed in the way they smiled and did their gestures.
They might be young, but their confidence and talent were definitely more than what you’d expect from someone their age.
When the group hit the chorus of the song, the crowd just lost it!
Everyone just screamed in delight which encouraged the kids even more. They were singing so beautifully and even if they weren’t exactly in sync, the kids were still so charming and cute that the audience can’t help but loudly cheer them on.
Their background, which initially appeared as stationary, suddenly showed movement that matched the kids’ gestures. It was actually a video background and if you look closely, you’ll see that there is snow falling as well.
This amazing video that accompanied the girls’ performance even made their song and dance number even more incredible. The audience was simply loving their act!
Eventually, the kids reached the biggest part of the song and everyone must have been waiting on the edge of their seats as the girls sang the part. But, of course, the little performers did not disappoint. Their take on the song was nothing short of amazing, a version that is undoubtedly one of the sweetest ever made to the tune of the iconic song!
When the girls reached the song’s finale, everyone just couldn’t stop screaming! The entire performance was a hit! And if you haven’t watched this video yet, you better click on the video below to see the girls’ loveable number and be amazed.
