Having stage fright is a very common thing that many people experience, it can be nerve-wracking to get up in front of a large crowd, especially when most of them are strangers.

There are a few tips and tricks, however, that can make the daunting task feel a little easier.

From picturing the audience in their underpants to looking just over everyone’s heads, there are a few things that help.

Another thing that can help is pinpointing a specific person in the audience, someone you feel very comfortable with, and imagining it’s just you and them.

That’s what one little girl did when she had to perform a gymnastics routine in front of a crowd of parents.

Little Brooklyn, who looks to be about 3 years old, was nervous to perform.

When she first walked on stage with her teacher, she looked out at the crowd and was searching for one special someone who she knew would be rooting for her.

She couldn’t find this person and ended up getting a little upset causing her teacher to ask her what was wrong.

“Daddy can you wave!” the teacher called out to the chuckling crowd.

And wave he did, and as soon as Brooklyn saw him, she was ready to move into her routine.

Her father, Michael Reed, had positioned himself near the back of the crowd so that he could videotape his little girl’s performance.

She climbed over the obstacle in front of her and moved onto a forward roll.

To cheers from the crowd, the girl expertly rolled down a ramp and then looked back to the crowd to see if her dad had seen what she had done.

She called out to him with pride, knowing he was watching her every move.

Once at the bottom of the ramp, she struck a few poses for the camera and then was on to the next task.

Sitting in a giant ring, she waved to the crowd again, clearly getting into the performance.

She was soon at the balance beam and the girl walked across it with a little help from her teacher, she was beaming with pride the entire time.

Brooklyn was now fully into the mood of her performance and she did a few adorable little bum bounces on the trampoline to the delight of the crowd.

Again, she called out to make sure her daddy was watching and then scurried through a tunnel and out the other side.

She was back to the big ring now and swung herself in a circle while smiling from ear to ear.

To finish the routine, Brooklyn mounted a pedestal and waved a bright red ribbon in the air.

She called to her dad, waved to the crowd, and was ushered off the stage by her teacher… her routine was a total success.

It is clear that Brooklyn and her father share a very special bond, and that it meant everything in the world to the little girl to know that her father was there, cheering her on.
