There aren’t many things cuter than little children who give the performance of their lives on televised talent shows, and the six-year-old Oscar Donnelly from Scotland is no different. The boy came up on the stage with a funny and charming personality, but he truly shined when he started performing an incredible Irish dancing routine.

Oscar has been dancing for all of his life, and the stage of Britain’s Got Talent was perfect to showcase his talent to the world.

The little boy lives in New Stevenson with his mom Annie, dad Chris and little sister Ayda. Despite his young age, Oscar has certainly made quite a name for himself on the dancing circuit, and he has even earned the right to call himself “Wee Mick”, a reference to Michael Flatley from the legendary Riverdance.

When Oscar came up on the stage, judge David Williams told him that the prize for winning Britain’s Got Talent would be a spot in the Royal Variety’s Performance Show and no less than £250,000. Oscar’s eyes sparkled and the audience couldn’t help but laugh at his hilarious reaction.

The judges then asked him what he would buy with that amount of money if he’d win, and Oscar downright said “a Bugatti,” which Simon thought was a great idea.

As the music starts playing, Oscar immediately shows his energetic side and mesmerizes the judges and the crowd.

Instead of doing pop-styled or hip-hop dancing, Oscar prefers to perform the traditional Irish dancing routine – but with his own adorable touch, of course. He grew up in the area where the dance is popular, and dancing has always been Oscar’s passion.

The whole performance doesn’t take more than a minute, but a minute is all that little Oscar needs. The whole act is great and it’s his footwork that manages to stand out the most. He truly shined on the stage and even though he seemed a little nervous at first, the six-year-old definitely made a lasting impression.

After the dancing act, Oscar was met with a thunderous applause and judge David simply told him he was “a little star.”

“He dances 24/7. Whenever we head to the supermarket, he’s out in front of me dancing down the aisles,” Oscar’s mom told The Daily Record.

This wasn’t the first time that Oscar appeared on national television, as the talented young man previously appeared on the United States version of Little Big Stars with Steve Harvey and made an appearance on the British version as well.

He was just five years old at the time and almost equally as talented. Aside from his dancing performance on the show, Oscar’s hilarious interview with host Steve Harvey managed to capture the hearts of the audience and the millions viewing at home.

“Oscar loved every moment on the show,” his mom told about his experience on Little Big Shots. “He took it all in his stride. He doesn’t know how to be nervous and just bounded up on to the stage.”

It looks like Oscar’s television career is far from over, as the talented dancer received four big yesses from the judges and made it to the next round.
