When you attend little kids’ performances you never know what you’re going to witness. Normally though, you’re guaranteed countless adorable moments mixed with some funny ones too. That’s because kids can be unpredictable in front of a big crowd!

On the other hand, there are also recitals where young performers seem to take their roles more seriously so their talents can shine through.

The video below captures a “Queen Bee” dance act that’s won over the internet. But don’t worry, besides being entertaining – it completely tips the cuteness meter as well.

These dancing bees are full of sugar and spice.

All of the girls in the “mini” troupe were from the JDI Dance Company in California, and the video takes place at the KAR National Dance Competition.

When it’s their turn to perform, they walk out on stage dressed in black and yellow costumes shaking their hips. There’s no denying they have diva-like attitudes (which is part of the act of course)!

Songstress Rochelle Diamante released a pop single called “Queen Bee.” It’s a song that’s full of sass, with a music video featuring the artist busting a move.

“Queen Bee” is also the track these seven tiny bees are dancing to. So really, the combination is perfectly mixed! But is this “swarm” any good?

Some kids love the spotlight, and it seems like the members of this troupe are destined for stardom.

The girls try to stay synchronized during their jazz dance, which is made up of peppy moves. While it’s not flawless by any means, they do a pretty amazing job for only being peewees!

A woman named Kali Clugston choreographed the fun routine that has the dancers using over-the-top facial expressions along the way. Their costumes are like icing on the cake, complete with multi-colored tutus and bows that add some flair.

According to the KAR (Kids Artistic Revue) Dance Competition website, they’re considered “America’s Favorite Dance Competition.”

They also share:

“KAR is more than a dance competition. Our unique environment affords the opportunity to showcase the mental and physical discipline that it takes to be a dancer. Our main goal is to foster a team building experience both on and off stage, while promoting the extraordinary confidence it takes to be a performer.”

The California company was founded nearly four decades ago, and currently, they tour to more than 60 cities and 30 states around the country!

Surely KAR sees a fair share of adorable performances on their stages every year. These “Queen Bee” dancers are definitely in the category of cuteness too.

They show off their impressive dance skills while the artist sings:

“I’m a queen bee
Uh oh oh oh …
You can call me honey, but I just might sting”

Although it’s uncertain whether the girls received a prize that day, they had the crowd cheering at the end of their performance. But in addition to that, it’s a video that’s been watched more than eight million times on YouTube. It even has over 52K “likes” (which isn’t too shabby for being youngsters).
