Father and daughter relationships are one of the sweetest to behold!

It’s always so wholesome seeing daddy do things with his baby girl. It’s almost usually dad failing at trying to play with his daughter and somehow trying to figure things out as they go along. No matter what, it’s always adorable to see their interactions play out as they bond together in the cutest of ways.

One father-daughter combo decided to take it to the next level and perform their own version of the trendy “Git Up” challenge. While it’s almost impossible to keep up with internet-breaking, viral dance videos all the time, we at least know when some dance routines gather more steam amongst the masses.

This routine is inspired by a combination of the step-by-step dance where you do the two-step with the cowboy-boogie. Then, you grab your partner and swing along for the ride! It’s not hard so long as you follow the lyrics to keep you focused. Every step of the routine is pretty much highlighted throughout the chorus as the song progresses.

Did we mention the little girl’s lovely outfit?

Her ranch inspired cowgirl hat along with red and blue plaid shirt was the perfect combination. Her blue jeans and brown boots were the icing on the cake. It added to the entire tone of the song and definitely bolstered their already captivating video.

Each movement was silky smooth without a single stutter. Most importantly, they looked like they’re having so much fun out there that they can barely contain it with their facial expressions.

Here we see the dancing duo shuffle their feet in classic cowboy boogie fashion. The shrug was a great opener, especially since it’s always a good idea to knock a little bit of the jitters out of your system.

Then, the two switched gears as they began working their way to their respective sides. The young lass began back stepping towards the right while her dad turned around and quickly did a squat for the ground.

The quirkiest part had to be when the two started to drink from their beverages. We weren’t quite sure why they had some in the first place, but we’ll let it slide since the entire routine is too much eye-candy to miss out.

After refuelling with some liquids, it was time to continue the routine.

No matter what, the two had too much spunk to slow down now. They followed up with a two-step portion that really lit the stage. The two exchanged friendly footsies at one point and it may have been the highlight of the show!

Finally, the dance challenge concluded with a little freestyle from both father and daughter.

Seeing as how they were already done with their choreography, the two broke off into their own improvised way of dancing.

Many have already attempted the now internet famous “Git Up” challenge and to be honest, many of them pale in comparison to this spectacle. The very energy these two bring is enough to delight a crowd and have us reinvigorated for what’s to come after the horrendous year that was 2020.
