Some people have such a deep love for movies that they can recite every line, replay every scene in their minds, and even sing along to every song.

One is an eight-year-old boy named Charlie, who has a special place in his heart for the classic film “Dirty Dancing.”

“Dirty Dancing” has won over countless fans, and Charlie is no exception.

The film’s iconic dance scene set to the tune of “Time of My Life” is irresistible, and not easy to replicate.

But Charlie, with his knack for dancing, managed to master the routine, giving even Patrick Swayze a run for his money.

Charlie’s mom, Lainie Kristina, saw her son’s passion and decided to film his performance.

Lainie told BuzzFeed News it all started when she and her husband went to see the movie, which was being replayed at the theater:

“Since the movie had the name ‘dancing’ in it Charlie insisted on watching it the next day at home.”

She continued: “He has probably watched it only 10-12 times. He loves to dance and cannot sit when he is watching a music video or anything with dancing in it.”

In their living room, with the movie playing in the background, Charlie begins his dance.

He starts off by watching the film, but as soon as the song hits the line “And I owe it all to you,” he springs into action.

Charlie’s performance is a sight to behold.

He moves with confidence, his eyes glued to the screen as he mimics the dance moves.

There are moments when he pauses, but given that he doesn’t have a dance partner, it’s understandable.

Despite these pauses, his performance is impressive, to say the least.

One of the highlights of Charlie’s performance is when he mimics Johnny Castle’s jump off the stage in the film.

Charlie leaps into the air, spins on his knees, and even replicates Swayze’s iconic head roll.

It’s as if a mini-version of the film has come to life in their living room.

Charlie’s love for “Dirty Dancing” was not a random occurrence.

According to Lainie, Charlie insisted on watching the film because it had the word ‘dancing’ in its title.

His love for dance is so strong that he can’t sit still whenever he watches a music video or anything that involves dancing.

The most anticipated part of the dance routine, and arguably the most iconic part of the movie, is “the lift.”

But without a dance partner, how would Charlie handle this part?

Instead of attempting the lift with a stuffed animal or something similar, Charlie stands mesmerized by the screen, much like many of us do when we watch that scene.

Charlie’s rendition of the “Dirty Dancing” routine is sure to bring a smile to your face.
