On February 1, 1968, Priscilla Beaulieu Presley gave birth to Lisa Marie. Although Elvis and Priscilla did not stay together for a long time, Lisa Marie has learned how to live with her parents’ separation and lived quite a happy life with them.
She used to stay at her father’s home in Memphis, Tennessee. And on the night before the King of Rock and Roll died, Lisa Marie was there.
According to a report by Express UK at the time, it was shared that the King was playing racketball with his then-fiancee Ginger Alden.

Their cousin Billy Smith and his wife Jo were playing with them that fateful day. After the game, Elvis went to the lower lounge area to play the piano and sang “Blue Eyes Crying in the rain”. He also sang the famous “Unchained Melody.”

Little did everyone know that these two songs were the last pieces the King will ever sing and play. Archivist Angie Marchese recalled the next things that Elvis did after that.
“He then left this building and went back up to the mansion, going through the Jungle Room door,” she explained. “He met Lisa and said he was going upstairs to get some rest as Lisa was just starting her day. Unfortunately, it was that afternoon that Elvis passed away.”
Lisa Marie was able to kiss her dad before his passing.

Then nine years old, Lisa Marie remembers that she was able to kiss her dad good night before he passed that day. She was supposed to sleep in the morning, but decided against it and went to see her father instead.
“I was supposed to be asleep, actually. He found me and [told me] ‘Go to bed.’ I said ‘Ok.’” Lisa Marie recalled. “I think he kissed me again and then I ran off. He came in and kissed me good night after that. That was the last time I saw him alive.”
