Having an authentic idea is key when it comes to proposals.

When you meet someone you want to marry, it’s up to you to find new and unique ways to show them your love. This man came up with an amazing idea by putting together a live “lip-dub” proposal for his girlfriend to ask for her hand in marriage…which has since been copied over and over again.

They really went all out on this!

Some proposals truly go above and beyond, and this “lip-dub” to “Marry You” by Bruno Mars is one of them.

Since the dawn of YouTube, countless proposals have melted hearts and gone viral. Back in 2012, Issac Lamb popped the question to his girlfriend Amy in a way that had the internet going crazy.

Actually out on a date with my wife! Watching John San Nicolas monkey around!

The video starts by explaining how Issac set up the big moment, it reads:

“On Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012, I told my girlfriend to meet me at my parent’s house for dinner. When she arrived I had stationed my brother to sit her in the back of an open Honda CRV and give her some headphones. He ‘wanted to play her a song.'”

After getting his girlfriend situated, “Marry You” starts to play and two dancers begin the show.

That’s when another one of their friends runs across the screen hilariously and everyone starts cracking up uncontrollably. Once the laughing stops, another couple joins the performance before more and more come into the picture.

There’s not a better song for a proposal than “Marry You” by Bruno Mars, and since its release in 2010, its been a go-to for hopeful husbands-to-be.

About 2:00 into the video, the real show begins when everyone runs out and does a choreographed routine.

Amy is completely surprised by the whole thing, laughing hysterically the entire way through.

The dancers do their best, but they’re not professionals and it makes for a funny show.

Right when you thought it couldn’t get any better, a group of guys in quirky top-hats come across the bottom of the screen and steal the show.

They shake their way across the street with a comical little boy in the middle of the group. Next, they create a walkway for one of the couples and they do a funny skit before moving on.

More and more people come out of nowhere to join the huge flash mob, with the kid and funny group of guys continue to run across the street while doing hilarious gestures.

After all the fun and games are up, the moment of truth comes in another unique way that catches Amy off guard.

Some of the dancers bring laptops up to her, with videos of people dancing with proposal signs playing.

That’s when a marching band joins the flash mob “lip-dub” for the grand finale.

Dressed in full costume, six members of a marching band do a synchronized march with the rest of the dancers waving their hands behind them.
