The ballet was performed in the Vienna State Opera in Austria, and features six incredible dancers. But all is not as it seems.

We begin the show with one dancer down. Dancer number six walks towards the group with her head hanging in shame, and we really believe that she was accidentally late!

But as the performance starts, we soon realize that this brilliant acting is all part of the show.

You see, although the dance routine is incredible, and there’s no denying that these girls are all extremely talented, there appears to be little things that keep on going wrong.

First, one of the girls steps to the right, while everyone else steps to the left.

She seems unaware of her mistake, and luckily she gets away with it this time.

But then another girl makes the same mistake with the direction of her steps, and this time she gets given what can only be described as a look from one of her fellow dancers.

The dance continues, and each dancer sinks down low into a bow.

But while five dancers stand up and continue with the routine, the sixth seems to have forgotten when she is meant to move.

A swift tap on her shoulder from one of the other dancers seems to do the job.

Embarrassed, the girl runs to join the rest of the group but notices that another dancer is in her place.

She gives her a firm nudge, and the girl shuffles over to make room for her.

The routine continues with a lot more amazing dancing and hilarious mistakes.

What makes it all the more comical is that if a dancer normally makes a mistake, they have to try and play it off as best as they can.

But in this situation, we can honestly say that we are reminded of our child’s first ballet class.

It’s absolute chaos, and the audience is loving it!

The hilarious routine is officially called The Concert (or The Perils of Everybody), and was created and choreographed by NYC ballet master Jerome Robbins.

Jerome is thought of as one of the best American-born choreographers of the 20th century.

Not only did he play a crucial role in the New York City Ballet, but he has also choreographed some of the most popular Broadway shows, including West Side Story and Fiddler on the Roof.

The viewers loved it! Comments went from praising the dancers to the pianist and the whole show!

“I think this is definitely the best Mistake Waltz I’ve ever seen on yt.😂 The other ones they made the mistakes so “on purpose” but this one they actually made people think they really “made” the mistakes😂 it’s so natural and clean(and funny at the same time)😂if u know what I mean”

Says one, while another commented,

“The fact what being a professional ballet dancer needs not just talent at dancing but you also need to be a good actress even a pro one.I am now a professional dancer but not in ballet,in folk dances and I understand how hard it is to act while dancing and to express the emotions, funny things and the situation to viewers. These ladies done a very good job and I really enjoy to look at this performance until now”

You can clearly see a master at work behind the routine, and we think the whole thing is so witty and clever.

The funny thing is, no one would know if any of the dancers made a ‘real mistake’, as you’d simply assume it was part of the choreography!

In some ways, that could make the whole show easier- but we think that a trained dancer would struggle mentally with remembering to do things wrong!
