It’s truly amazing how the internet has enabled us to instantly connect with people from all around the world.

With just a click of a button, musicians can share their work and even collaborate on projects together. This video is a perfect example of how social media has changed the game when it comes to musical collaborations. Over a dozen musicians from all around the world come together to create a stunning version of “La Bamba.”

Music is such a terrific way for people from all over to connect!

Musicians from all around the world played “La Bamba” together and it came out incredibly.

For anyone who doesn’t know, “La Bamba” is a Mexican folk song that originated in Veracruz, though it’s best known for Richie Valens’ version in 1958. It was also the inspiration behind the movie created about Valens’s life back in 1987. Countless musicians have made renditions of the legendary song, including these talented performers who came together with the movement Playing For Change.

The video starts with the popular folk group, Tien Huicani, beautifully playing the intro to “La Bamba” in Veracruz, Mexico before it switches to an accordion player, Francisco Ibarra, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

The video continues to switch from musician to musician, who are playing all sorts of different instruments.

Alberto Manuel De La Rosa, who is also in Veracruz, plays “La Bamba” on his harp and it sounds gorgeous. As more and more artists add their personal touches, the song begins to progress to a wonderful musical masterpiece.

After the video flashes to Papa Orbe Ortiz from Cuba and Carlos Rodriguez, who is also in Veracruz.

After that, the Los Lobos from East Los Angeles come in and start to sing the words as well.

That’s when the video goes all the way around the world to Salvador Persico, who’s playing the bongos in Melbourne, Australia.

After Australia, the video jumps to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where Andres Calamaro sings and plays the guitar.

When the video gets to La Marisoul in Placita Olvera, USA, she showcases her powerful voice before the video changes again to Columbian drummer, Pablo Correa. After that, it’s over to Lukala, Congo where a big group of kids assists the musician singing and clapping their hands.

Again and again, the video flashes to different talented musicians from countries all over the world.

When it gets to Novi Sad, Serbia, expert guitarist Nikola Petakovic plays an impressive solo.
