Who doesn’t love a good Fast Money round on Family Feud?
While the actual competition is fun to watch, especially when the points are double and tripled so a family can reach 300 points, the Fast Money round is always the most exciting.
Once a family has won the competition, they get to move onto the Fast Money round to try and win $20,000-$25,000 (depending on the type of Family Feud being played).
During the Fast Money round, two people are selected to represent the winning team. They both have to answer the same questions to try and earn 200 points.
The first person up only gets 20 seconds on the clock to answer the 5 questions and the second player gets 25 seconds to answer.
In order to earn points, players cannot repeat answers and their answers need to actually be on the board. Sometimes people get big, whopping zeros for their answers!
Well, not Kimberly Perry from The Band Perry. While on Family Feud with her band (slash family), Kimberly was first up to play Fast Money. And her team totally chose wisely having her go first!
During the fast 20 seconds, Family Feud host Steve Harvey asked Kimberly:
“We asked 100 married men when you see your wife naked, what is she doing?
Kimberly said, “Taking a shower”
“Name something people use to make a wish…”
Kimberly said, “Star”
“Name a place you’ve been to at 3 in the morning…”
Kimberly said, “A Bar”
Clearly, Kimberly was on a roll!
“How many kisses does it take to know if there’s any chemistry?”
Kimberly said, “One”
“Name something a bird only has two of…”
Kimberly said, “Wings”
Now, if you were nodding along to all of those answers thinking “good answer” you’d be 100% right, those were good answers. In fact, they were pretty great!
After her 20 seconds were up, Steve reread each question along with Kimberly’s answers to see how many points she got. She managed to snag 196 points all on her own!
This is not an easy feat, she basically won the game for her team on her own. All her brother Reid needed to get was 4 points to win the game. The was no biggie! All he needed was one decent answer to get over the 200-point threshold and he was able to clear it easily.
Unlike regular families, The Band Perry wasn’t walking away with that $25,000 for themselves. Celebrities always play the Fast Money round and donate it to a charity of their choice.
Since they won the Fast Money round, The Band Perry was able to donate $25,000 to Teen Cancer America. What a great donation and charity to choose!
