When the famous dance cam is pointed towards someone in the audience, sometimes viewers are really in for a treat.
During a basketball game of the Detroit Pistons, plenty of fans were more than willing to step into the spotlight for a few moments and share some dance moves for everyone to see on the stadium’s Jumbotron.
The dance cam showed some enthusiastic fans and even a funny dad with his baby cheering, but it was one fan in particular who managed to make the crowd go wild.
A kid in a red shirt busted out an impressive amount of great dance moves and quickly was the center of the audience’s attention.
The stadium erupted with laughs and cheers, but a certain security guard wanted to up things up a little bit and showed the arena some moves of his own. With the camera focused on the security guard, he didn’t hesitate for a second to go absolutely nuts.
It didn’t take long before these two were embroiled in a hefty dance battle with each contestant trying to outdo the other one constantly.
We have to admit, the security guard has some incredibly energetic and uplifting moves, but they were quickly countered by the kid’s hilarious dance performances.
When the guard started shaking his butt, the laughter of the crowd was apparently deafening. Also, take a close look at their facial expressions as they’re an absolute joy to watch.
Funnily enough, the security steward and the same kid had a dance-off rematch at another game of the Detroit Pistons. According to the person who uploaded the footage, the dancing security guard is known as “The Dancing Rusher” and has a tendency to start dance battles when the dance cam is rolling.
Their second encounter upped things even further with hilarious moves and interactions between the two. When the Detroit Pistons mascot decided that the kid had won the second dance battle by raising his hand, the security guard applauded him and quickly made his way towards him.
The two then did a little dancing together, which was something the crowd could definitely appreciate.
With almost four million views on YouTube, this incredible dance battle has quickly gone viral.
“Damn they both rock the floor… (I) bet most people just come to watch them dance haha,” one viewer commented.
