It’s always a point of amazement to witness a child finding themselves in the world. And talent is abundant these days. Younger and younger, kids are turning to music and schooling the entire scene from unbelievable ages!
Today, meet a next-generation guitar hero—his name is Taj Farrant.
This guy is a true music prodigy, and he shows no signs of stopping the pursuit of his dreams.
He was eagerly invited onto the set of Ellen in 2019 and he didn’t disappoint!
In the video, DeGeneres prefaces his appearance with a full disclaimer.
She admits that she gets to meet a lot of talented kids on her show, but Farrant is a real legend at just nine-years-old. She goes on to say that he is ‘truly something special’ and that can play Prince, Black Sabbath and Guns N’ Roses like nobody else she’s ever heard.
The stage opens up to reveal a tiny rock star with a big sound.
And just like that, Farrant shreds the electric guitar like the best of them. His talent is mystifying!
He may be young, but his abilities far surpass his age.
Farrant, now 11 years old, has shown no signs of pausing his fervent rise to success.
Hailing from Australia, he’s been blessed with a supportive family who has only encouraged him to revel in his passion.
It all seemingly started with Farrant’s father brought him along to an AC/DC concert.
When the young boy witnessed legend Angus Young doing his thing on stage he was struck.
He immediately thought, “I want to do that forever,” and the rest was history. He picked up a guitar and realized it was completely made for him.
Critics globally have labeled Farrant as a musical prodigy.
His performances, while youthful, are likewise legendary.
He has already become so gifted in his craft that he’s had the fortune of playing alongside Grammy award-winning artists like Carlos Santana, Rob Thomas, and even KISS. He’s traveled far and wide showcasing his love for music.
