Here is the always amazing Keith Urban with BRELAND, a very young and definitely talented country and R&B artist.

Performing “Lean On Me“, Urban starts it off with his trademark hairstyle and Stratocaster, introducing BRELAND as a good friend of his before setting the mood with his fingers strumming the blues.

Rolling Stone’s ranked this song at 208 of the 500 greatest songs of all time.

Lean On Me” was written by Bill Withers and released in April of 1972. The lyrics were written to be simple, with Withers missing his old hometown of West Virginia when he moved to Los Angeles.

It’s when artists like Keith Urban have a go at a classic that the song takes on another life. Nothing too dramatic either, just straight up talent bringing an old song back with a modern twist.

It was in boarding school where he was exposed to secular music like hip-hop, R&B, country and pop genres. But young Breland loved 70’s artists like Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder.

That’s when he began writing his own music, mixing and matching the styles he liked while developing his voice.

Now known as BRELAND, the young man from Burlington, New Jersey takes the stage with confidence, singing with Keith Urban as he engages the audience with that dazzling smile of his.

The Opry House is no stranger to flooding when back in 2010, the Cumberland River overflowed, flooding much of Tennessee. Repairs were made and the house still stands.

It’s incredible to see what people can do when they band together for the common good.
