When you go on a show like America’s Got Talent, the pressure is on. You are not only performing in front of the judges, hoping to get approved to go on to the next round, but you are also performing in front of the live audience, your competitors, and the rest of America viewing at home.

So when Daniel Ferguson stepped onto the stage, hailing from the relatively unknown town of Youngstown Ohio, the judges and the audience didn’t know what to expect.

Daniel is only 23 years old. He works as a Sales Representative for a few radio stations in Ohio, and he came on to America’s Got Talent to sing a song for the judges.

As Judge Mel B from the Spice Girls asked about Daniel’s performing experience, Daniel confessed it was his first time performing in front of an audience.

After some advice from Mel B, Daniel gets ready to take the stage.

The judges probably thought, “Here comes another singer.” Heidi Klum voices this sentiment aloud, saying, “I hope he’s good” moments before Daniel begins his performance.

Soon, Daniel’s song choice begins to play. The judges and audience quickly recognize it to be DNCE’s “Cake by the Ocean” song, and are understandably confused.

But as the first lyrics to the song play, Daniel’s true talent quickly emerges.

Daniel starts the song off singing as the popular character Goofy, and his impression is spot-on.

And the reaction from the judges, audience, and viewers from America was probably synonymous.

Everyone was surprised, but loved it.

But Daniel’s talent doesn’t just stop at impersonating Goofy.

Daniel shows off even more impressive character impressions, such as Scooby Doo, Kermit, and even Simon Cowell himself.

Daniel does impersonate a few more famous cartoon characters, but I won’t give it away by telling you who they are. I highly recommend watching the video for yourself.

Daniel’s impressions are impeccable, and his singing isn’t half bad too! Not to mention that the hand gestures he does on top of his singing really sells the character he’s portraying.

If you want a fun at-home challenge, try watching the video and looking away from the screen to guess what character Daniel is seeing. Check the picture on the stage after each impression to see if you’re right.

With over 25 million views on YouTube and counting, Daniel’s performance puts the entertain in entertainment.

It just goes to show that you never know what hidden talents your coworkers might have!

Please SHARE this great performance with your friends and family.
