Seeing famous artists recognize their fans is always touching.

Josh Groban is a world-renowned singer, songwriter, actor and producer whose first four solo albums have all gone multi-platinum. The talented superstar is also known for his incredible live shows, in which he often picks someone from the crowd to do a duet with.

The girl he picks for this duet has the most gorgeous voice!

This teenage singer’s dream comes true when Groban invites her to sing a duet of his song “To Where You Are.” Anyone who follows Groban’s career knows that he’s not only an outstanding singer but can also be quite the comedian during his live shows.

At this show back in 2013, Groban gets a request from a fan for a duet and proceeds to joke around with her before they began to sing.

Maude Daigneault was the lucky fan who made the request, the young singer was beside herself when Groban actually called on her.

She speaks mostly French, so it’s a bit hard for him to talk to her, but eventually she reveals she wants to sing his song “To Where You Are.”

As soon as Maude puts her vocals on display, it’s obvious that she’s got an extraordinary gift.

Groban holds the mic for the teenage girl as she begins singing beautifully. Her sweet voice instantly has the crowd hooked, and they immediately cheer for Maude as she continues to impress!

After she gets done with her first solo, the audience really starts to go crazy for the teenage singer until her famous counterpart begins singing.

That’s when Groban starts singing to Maude in a deep and sultry voice.

Groban takes the spotlight for just a short while before holding the mic back up to Maude’s face and letting her serenade the packed crowd. Seeing videos of shows pre-COVID-19 can be a little sad, but hopefully we’ll be back to attending live performances like this one soon!

Groban and his talented fan take turns singing, passing the same mic between the two of them until it’s time for the grand finale.

When Groban and Maude begin singing together, the way their voices blend is simply mesmerizing.

For the last 30 seconds of the video, Groban and his singing partner sing as one in a jaw-dropping duet that has people watching entranced. This isn’t the only time Groban has brought a lucky fan into the spotlight. In another performance, the Grammy-nominated artist brought another 14-year-old on stage to also song “To Where You Are.”
