But every battle isn’t fought alone.
John Travolta can tell you this from personal experience.
John Travolta is known as a famous actor, dancer, and singer.
He’s been in showbiz for over forty years.
He was born in New Jersey in 1954 and is the youngest of six kids. His dad used to play football, while his mom acted and sang.
John loved performing from a young age. At 18, he was on Broadway.
His first big movie was “Carrie,” a scary-funny one. But he got super famous with “Saturday Night Fever,” a disco movie where he played Tony Manero.
He was nominated for an Academy Award for it.
From his biggest breaks to his deepest heartbreaks.
Despite being one of the biggest stars of his era, Travolta is no exemption from going down on his knees because of too much sorrow and pain.
His son, Jett, died in 2009 while on vacation, and then he lost his wife Kelly to cancer in July 2020.
He’s talked a bit about it publicly, and he shared the sad news of his wife’s passing on Instagram.
“It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many. … Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered. I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while. But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal,” Travolta wrote.
But these tragic events didn’t stop him from pursuing his craft.
He’s won lots of awards and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Losing his wife affected him deeply, but he’s determined to keep going just as she’d want him to.
A love that will never fade.
Without a doubt, John still loves and misses his wife dearly even though she’s not here anymore.
Since Preston’s passing, he still regularly shares posts on her birthdays and Mother’s Day to show how much he cares.
Even after Kelly passed away, John kept her memory close.
On Mother’s Day in 2021, he posted a sweet message for her on Instagram, thanking her for their kids and saying they miss her.
“Dearest Kelly, you brought into my life three of the most wonderful children I have ever known. Thank you. We love and miss you. Happy Mother’s Day.”
Since Kelly died, people have said John doesn’t want to date anyone else.
He’s not interested in starting new relationships.
According to reports, John is still struggling with the pain of losing his wife.
In a rare interview in 2021, he said everyone deals with loss in their own way.
It’s a strong statement that everlasting love can conquer everything and that it’s not impossible to stay in love with someone who is no longer with you.
