If you have ever watched the HGTV show “Fixer Upper,” you’re probably a big fan of Chip and Joanna Gaines.
Most fans know that Joanna just had a baby – the couple’s fifth child. The little boy’s name is Crew, and before now, fans didn’t know much about him. But recently, Joanna posted some photos of the newest addition to their family and his sweet nursery, and fans are going wild.
The little boy was born about two weeks ago, and Joanna says that he is already settling in nicely.
And who wouldn’t with this little one’s beautiful room? It’s in Joanna’s signature style, with lots of natural light and colors, a bit of green foliage, and a neutral, calming atmosphere. A furry white rug completes the space and adds some contrast to the dark wood furniture and simple but elegant crib. At the center of the photo is baby Crews, all nestled into his wooden rocking bouncer, courtesy of the Parisian Charlie Crane, a baby outfitter. People are going crazy for this rocker, and parents and parents-to-be are buying them for their own children.
The room’s look is completed with a beautiful blue baby blanket casually thrown over the side of the crib, providing that extra bit of warmth and comfort to the room. Although he cannot yet express his approval, the little one seems as warm and as cozy as can be in his new room.
On the reality TV star and interior designer’s Instagram, she has already posted a few pictures of her new child and her enjoying their first moments together.
As this is the couple’s fifth child, she undoubtedly has a lot on her plate. After all, she and her husband, Chip, must both balance their busy family life, as well as their careers. But it seems like she is spending more than enough time with the little one and just taking it easy while he eases into the swing of things.
While the couple was ready for their new little one to come into the world, they certainly were faced with some unexpected timing.
Baby Crew arrived a whole two and a half weeks earlier than predicted, which Joanna described as a “surprise.” But even with the early arrival, the family seems to be doing well and to be enjoying the time they are currently spending together.
The couple has been married for 15 years, and during that time together, they have already accomplished a lot. Of course, there’s the fact that they now have five beautiful and healthy children who are growing up quickly. But you can’t forget about their extremely successful TV show and empire. The pair is one of the most well-known duos in the worlds of reality television and in housing makeovers, showing that fame can come in all shapes and sizes.
Of course, baby Crew’s siblings are also ecstatic that they have a new little brother.
In an Instagram post by Joanna, you can see all of them crowded around the door to Joanna’s hospital room, anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new member of the family. The couple’s other children include Drake, who is 13 years old; Ella, who is 11; Duke, who is 9; and Emmie, who is 8. Of course, they love their new brother very much, and they couldn’t be happier that they get to share their lives with a new little one. They will undoubtedly take the opportunity to start showing him the ropes as soon as possible.
Chip and Joanna’s fans have taken to the internet to welcome the couple’s new baby into the world, and they are even more inspired by the little one’s nursery. Luckily, they are sure to see a lot more about the new baby in weeks and months to come.
