Adding comedy to an already impressive musical performance is always a win, and that’s exactly what this talented drummer did. Instead of playing the piece the way he was supposed to, this drummer purposely ruins it for the band by going off on a prank drum solo that they’ve never heard.

His antics will have you cracking up from start to finish!

Zack Grooves is a talented drummer who pulled a hilarious prank on his friends and went viral for it.

Grooves is a professional Jazz drummer who also has a great sense of humor which is on full display during this comical performance. After telling his friends he would play with them, he goes off in left-field and begins pounding away.

At the start of the video, the camera zooms in on Grooves who has a mischievous look on his face and the caption “wait for it…” pops up on the screen.

Out of nowhere, Grooves begins smiling and playing a drum line that no jazz band could keep up with.

The band attempts to keep up with Grooves and his hilarious antics, but they quickly realize that the joke is on them and begin to smile as their friend steals the show.

About 0:22 into the video, Grooves pauses for a split second to apologize to the band smirking as he tells them “I’m so sorry.”

Sorry or not the prank must go on, so the comical drummer goes back banging on his drums like a madman.

Not only is the situation funny, but Grooves is an excellent drummer who proves it with his jaw-dropping solo.

For almost an entire minute, Grooves pays a complex solo as fast as humanly possible. It’s rare for a talented musician to be a good comedian as well, but that’s definitely how Grooves is!

In another hilarious video, Grooves does a skit on “Why Some Drummers Never Get Called Back” that also had the internet laughing-out-loud.

In the “Why Some Drummers Never Get Called Back” video, Grooves acts out a whole skit as an auditioning drummer who starts off good before losing control and going haywire on his drums.




He’s just all-around talented, from his drum solos to acting to his quirky personality.

It’s easy to see why so many people love his videos. After ruining the performance in this video, Grooves lets out a last smirk before the show abruptly ends. It’s no wonder the funny musician has grown such a following on social media! Hopefully, his friends in the band weren’t too mad at him for the funny prank he pulled at their expense.
