Jackie Evancho isn’t a new name for many.

She first dazzled us as a young contestant on America’s Got Talent in 2010.

At just 10 years old, she took the stage, looking every bit the angel.

But what truly left everyone in awe was her voice – mature, powerful, and absolutely mesmerizing.

She performed the opera classic “O mio babbino caro,” leaving both the audience and viewers at home spellbound.

That performance was just the beginning of Jackie’s incredible journey.

She may have secured the second position in the fifth season of AGT, but in the world of music, she was already a winner.

Doors of opportunities swung open for her, and she quickly rose to stardom, a position she has maintained to this day.

Jackie’s achievements in the music industry are nothing short of remarkable.

As Jackie grew, so did her collaborations.

One such memorable partnership was with the renowned tenor, Fernando Varela.

Fernando, with his exceptional vocal talent, has illuminated stages worldwide.

In 2017, he even had his television special titled “Coming Home” aired on PBS.

It was during this event that the magic of Jackie and Fernando’s duet unfolded.

Their rendition of “The Prayer” is nothing short of spine-tingling.

Jackie starts off with a solo, singing the English version of the song.

Her voice, as always, is a treat to the ears.

For those unfamiliar, the song “The Prayer” was originally crafted as separate versions by Celine Dion (in English) and Andrea Bocelli (in Italian) for the 1998 movie “Quest for Camelot.”

They later combined their talents for a duet.

As Jackie’s voice fills the room, Fernando joins in, singing his part in Italian, reminiscent of Andrea Bocelli.

Their voices intertwine beautifully, creating a harmonious blend that’s simply divine.

As one viewer aptly put it,

“The chemistry of these two performing together is electric! May they have many more duets together in the future.”

Another chimed in, expressing how, even after numerous listens over the years, it remains one of their favorite duets.
