The Jabbawockeez are a famous hip-hop dance crew out of San Diego, California.

The group made their claim to fame when they won the very first season of America’s Best Dance Crew back in 2008. Last year, the talented dancers got to showcase their skills during an NBA Finals halftime show and stunned the crowd.

The 2019 NBA Finals were special for many reasons, though one of the biggest reasons was Jabbawockeez spectacular performance during game four.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the NBA has been shut down indefinitely.

We can only speculate when or if there will be another NBA Finals and what that will look like. Will the stands be empty? Will there be halftime shows or dunk contests? Who knows? What we do know is that the 2019 Finals between The Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors was one to remember.

During the fourth game of the series, the Raptors were up by two points (25-23) going into halftime when the Jabbawockeez burst out of the locker room and started their mesmerizing dance routine.

As natives of San Diego, the Jabbawockeez make it clear who they’re rooting with their Golden State hoodies.

The first wave of dancers takes turns breaking it down before meeting another group of dancers on the court.

The second group wears plain white masks, but it’s their moves that have the crowd going wild.

After doing some mind-boggling robot moves, they bust out slow-motion dances before one of them does some wicked breakdancing.

That’s when the stadium goes dark and one of the Jabbawockeez stands on a platform doing unbelievable moves using beams of light.

This is one of the coolest dances we’ve ever seen!

The dancer moves his body with the beams, making it look like he’s controlling them. Whoever thought of this routine is a total genius. Meanwhile, the rest of his crew mimics his dance moves from the ground.

The dancer on the platform does moves that don’t even seem possible—some of his pop and locks are seriously hard to fathom.

Once he’s done with the insane light show, all 12 members of the team start dancing for the last part of the show.

For the grand finale, the entire Jabbawockeez crew dances their way back to the locker room.

In the last part of their performance, they all do some smooth and relaxed bouncing while making their way through two rows of cheerleaders back to where it all started.

There’s no question that the Jabbawockeez are some of the best to ever do it.

I’m sure they were excited when they got the invite from the NBA. It’s too bad their team lost this game and eventually the series. Even so, the dance routine still stands!
