Cool to the touch, cool to the ears, cool to the rhythm and the notes that it produces.

If you can allow yourself the moment to sit back, relax, and take it all in. Jazz can certainly take you away and deliver you to a dreamy moment in time. It may be the instruments, it may be the improvisation, or it may be the style and class that each unique artist has brought to the scene throughout history.

Jazz is a free-form wheel in motion and has the ability to convey a wide variety of emotions, from deep sorrow to unmatched elation.

Following in the footsteps of the great Louis Armstrong, he blazed a path on the scene, emerging as a major force in the world of jazz.

Both a trumpet player and a bandleader, Davis was highly instrumental in developing and changing the concept of jazz completely. Born in 1926, Davis traveled to New York City to pursue music at just the age of 18.

As a young boy, Davis found himself developing a talent for playing the trumpet.

With this, he attended the Julliard School of Music to further expand his abilities.

It was there in the city that Davis began playing nightclubs and working closely with other musicians at the time. Together, they created a fast, improvisational style of jazz known better as bebop—a shift that would define jazz in the modern era.
