Undoubtedly, all of us at some point in our lives have heard a song that touched something deep inside us, making us have goosebumps or brought tears in our eyes. Music is one of these few things that can really touch humans on a deeper emotional level.

Especially when the song with its music and lyrics can speak directly to our soul and have an impact on us. A scientific study calls music a “ubiquitous companion to people’s everyday lives”, and it’s so true, as music is often present in every important moment in our lives.

If you hear her, you would see that she really has amazing vocals, almost angelic that can move anyone in her audience, religious or not.

The song, “How Great Thou Art”, is actually a Christian hymn, as you will understand after listening to it. It is based on a Swedish traditional melody and a poem written by Carl Boberg, a Swedish poet and elected official, in 1885. The hymn was so popular that was translated into German and Russian, and from there to English.
