Everyone loves music. It’s the most popular thing in the world.

The video began with the woman, who was a tourist visiting the United Kingdom from Japan, playing music at a public piano.

An older musician, Brendan Kavanagh, walked up to her, and the two connected over their love of music.

Kavanagh asked if he could play some music with her on the piano.

Soon, Kavanagh was accompanying the woman. At first, he picked up the rhythm of the song she knew.

Then Kavanaugh swapped places with the woman so he could show her how to adapt the song to fit in with the boogie-woogie genre.

He started playing, adding extra notes to the music, giving it an oomph that made it sound like the music that accompanies old silent films.

The woman smiled. She clearly loved the new spin on the song. And yes, this style was clearly new to her.

Then she picked up her phone so that she could start recording it. Once she’d pressed record, she placed the phone back down and got back to learning this new musical style.

Soon, she was moving along to the beat. And then she ran her finger across the keys rapidly. Clearly, she was getting boogie-woogie right away.

When they had finished the song, Kavanagh and the woman shook hands. He asked her if she knew about boogie-woogie music. She replied that she didn’t. So Kavanagh explained it a little.

Then he started to teach her the principles of the genre.
