“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
When you have a dream, it’s important to be full of passion so that you can make it come true.
You need to be aggressive to get what you want.
Show everyone what you are capable of doing.
Have the fire of passion burning inside you.
A legend was born.
Every great dancer had a dream like this, just like Michael Flatley, who started getting dance lessons when he was just 11 years old.
After a few years, when Flatley was 17, he was the first American who won the all-world championship in Irish dancing.
He fell in love with the Irish dance that’s full of love, history, and a beautiful way to tell a story.
Last 1993, Flatley performed at the Spirit of Mayo in Dublin.
The event was a music festival and an Irish dance in one.
He was so good that even Ireland’s president, Mary Robinson, noticed him.
That’s when he was invited on shows his name was slowly recognized.
Flately decided to create “Riverdance,” after his 7-minute performance received worldwide acclaim.
Soon, Riverdance was known in different countries, and Flatley’s take on the traditional Celtic dance became the new favorite.
Lord of the Dance
Sadly, Flately left Riverdance last 1995 after a disagreement with the show’s producers.
This gave way for Flately to create Lord of the Dance.
This Las Vegas-inspired Celtic dance was a breath of fresh air for everyone.
It was bold, spectacular, and jaw-dropping!
Flatley became even more well-known around the world.
According to Flately, the legend continues as there are now three Lord of the Dance around the world.
They are James Keegan, Matt Smith, and Cathal Keaney.
James and Matt have already had their full performances, and now, it’s Cathal’s turn.
Lord of the Dance, Cathal Keaney at the Giovanni Zarrella Show
Last December of 2021, Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance YouTube channel posted a video promoting their upcoming Germany tour this year.
The theme, “25 YEARS OF STANDING OVATIONS,” Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance gave a sneak peek performed on the Giovanni Zarrella Show.
Here, they introduce Cathal Keaney, the third Lord of the Dance.
Make sure you have your headphones on so you can fully enjoy this performance.
Cathal’s stage presence is so powerful that you’d immediately know why he’s the Lord of the Dance.
Needless to say, the footwork is off the charts.
You wouldn’t expect less from Flately’s dancers, right?
As you watch each person dance, you’ll know how important discipline, passion, and endurance are.
Each dancer is snappy, but you would also see the jaw-dropping choreography of their footwork.
The video has been viewed over 380K times and has gathered thousands of likes as well.
