But sometimes, the groom has a surprise up his sleeve, a gesture to show just how much he cherishes his bride-to-be.
Enter Mark Sartor, a groom who wasn’t content to just be a spectator at his own wedding.
While many grooms might happily let their fiancées take the reins, Mark had a different idea.
He wanted to surprise his bride with a gesture that was uniquely him, something that would leave a big mark on their special day.
Mark’s plan? An over-the-top dance tribute to the love of his life.
He rallied his friends, sharing his grand vision of a performance that would leave everyone in awe.
Together, they began to practice in secret, ensuring that the bride would be none the wiser until the big reveal.
The wedding day arrived, and everything seemed to be going as planned.
But as the reception progressed, the familiar notes of Disney’s “Lion King” began to play.
The bride, sensing something was amiss, looked around in anticipation.

The next moment was nothing short of cinematic.
Mark’s friends carried him into the room on a chair, reminiscent of a royal procession.
As he was gently placed on the dance floor, the music transitioned to Beyoncé’s iconic “Single Ladies.”
The groom and his entourage then broke into a choreographed dance, their joy and enthusiasm filling the room.
The bride, seated at the head of the dance floor, watched in delight as the men danced around her.
It was clear that this performance was dedicated to her and it was nothing less than amazing.
Boy could these guys dance!
But the surprises didn’t end there.
The music shifted again, and the dancers changed outfits, transitioning from formal attire to sailor hats and ties.
The energy was infectious as they danced to “Candyman” by Christina Aguilera, their smiles never fading.
For more than four minutes, the guys put on the most entertaining dance.
The performance continued with a medley of hits, from “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO to “Gangnam Style” by PSY.
The bride’s laughter and joy were evident, making the entire effort worthwhile.
And what wedding dance would be complete without some “Dirty Dancing?”
Yep, they pulled that one off too!
Reflecting on the surprise, Mark shared,
“I came up with this dance as a surprise for my beautiful wife with my mates. We practiced every Wednesday night in my garage for 3 months prior to our wedding. We drank, we ate, and we danced every week. My wife had no idea what we were up to, I told her a white lie that she actually believed. She believed I was in a ten-pin bowling team, her reaction is priceless!”
