Flamenco dance is one of the most beautiful forms of dancing, and it dates back to the 15th century with the arrival of the Romani people to the Iberian Peninsula (now known as Spain). The dancers wear gorgeous dresses while rapidly stomping their feet and swinging their arms. This group of flamenco dancers lights the internet on fire with their awesome moves and fierce energy.
These three stunning flamenco dancers transform the streets of Granada, Spain and they went viral for their efforts.
Dancing is something that everyone can enjoy but not everyone is good at it. Lucky for us, these flamenco dancers from Granada are in a league of their own and prove it in this incredible performance!
At the beginning of the video, you can see the dancers off to the side clapping as two guitarists’ and a drummer plays a classic flamenco melody.
Once the musicians’ have a melody, the dancers step into the front a begin to dance. The flamenco dancers quickly stomp their feet and clap their hands before one of them breaks into a solo dance.
With everyone else clapping her on, the flamenco dancer in polka dots pulls her dress up and starts doing some phenomenal flamenco dancing.
She uses her hands beautifully, waving them into the air in the most elegant way possible.
After she dances for a bit, another dancer takes center stage and begins doing the traditional dance perfectly.
Now that the other two have done solo dances, it’s only right that the third and final dancer shows them what she’s got.
Once they’ve all done a solo dance, the three dancers do some choreographed flamenco dancing in unison.
Seeing one of them break it down is impressive enough, but seeing all three of them go off like this is just jaw-dropping. The dancers walk in a circle with one hand in the air, all while keeping their feet moving up and down.
That’s when they do some final sharp movements and end in wonderful poses, but it’s hardly the end of their performance.
After they finish the group performance, the musicians take the spotlight before one of the dancers starts flamenco dancing again.
The music takes ahold of the dancer in the polka dots and she jumps back into the middle and shocks everyone.
Right when you thought all the dancing was done, one of the dancers just can’t hold back and starts giving it everything she has in one final flurry of flamenco. She swings her dress around, shakes her head, and spins her body, all while the rest of the dancers cheer her on.
