We often say, “Dance like no one’s watching,” especially if we’re too shy to bust a move.

Not everyone is confident enough to dance in front of a crowd, but this saying gives us the boost we need.

It’s a reminder that one shouldn’t be consumed by other people’s expectations of what a dance and dancer should be.

But the older we get, the less we care about the people around us.

Suddenly, we’ve embodied the saying “dance like no one’s watching” because we’re done trying to please people.

It’s always best to do something that would make us happy and spread that happiness at the same time.

Take this grandma, for example, who got her groove on inside a grocery store.

The shoppers were probably busy going out and about their typical shopping day, but this woman spiced up their shopping experience for a while with a fun little dance.

No one really knows her name or where this was taken, but it went viral nonetheless.

At first, it seemed like she was shopping as usual as the others.

She had a bag in one hand and a basket in the other.

But when she heard one of her favorite songs blasting through the store’s speakers, she couldn’t help but move with the music.

It was Stevie Wonder’s “Part-Time Lover,” and we all know how this song makes us want to dance!

This is one of the remarkable Stevie Wonder hits hitting the Billboard R&B, Contemporary, Dance, and Hot 100 charts.

The song was said to be an ode to The Supremes’ “You Can’t Hurry Love” and “My World is Empty Without You.”

And like the whole world, this grandma probably moved to this song in her younger days.

Young or old, this grandma showed her awesome dance moves.

Her hands were full, but that didn’t stop her groove.

She shuffled her feet and swung her hips with ease.

No one’s stopping her from having the time of her life.

At one point, she asked one shopper, “Are you my part-time lover?” and both of them shared a good, hearty laugh.

People looked at her with so much joy.

Her energy was infectious, and we bet the people in the grocery store were smiling the whole time.

After all, it’s not every day that they witness something so joyful like this one.

Maybe she even made someone’s bad day turn better.

Even people on YouTube love this grandma’s energy!

“There’s no way I’d allow this lovely lady to be dancing on her own… I’d have to join in. This was beautiful to watch.”

Another user, Sassy Diva, gave props to both the grandma and the music of her generation, saying:

“She’s adorable. I love to see older people happy and dancing. Her era was probably the most fun too, and someone SHOULD have been dancing with her, which goes to show her generation of having fun was a lot better!”
