China is the largest country in Asia, both in area and population, and it’s full of rich history and fascinating culture that goes back for centuries.
You’ll never run out of topics when discussing this great nation. As is with other countries, there are a few oddities here and there, but one aspect that most nations share would be the love of families.
Check out this grandpa and his two granddaughters.
Mention China and people automatically think “martial arts”.
Perhaps it is for that very reason that people often think of the Chinese as men and women who can still defend themselves even at an old age. Now that may be true in the olden days but today, people stay healthy through many different means, all to extend that youthful vigor as they advance in age.
Well, this grandpa must have been doing something right then. Any guesses as to his age?
Look at him dance with his two granddaughters. He’s even better than most kids! Where most seniors would need help standing and even walking, grandpa here struts on his two feet!
They even swing on one leg from left to right, alternating from one foot to the other all while executing an almost moonwalk-like sequence. Those kids are great dancers of course, but grandpa here is the star!
These three have attracted a small crowd but I suspect it’s the smooth-moving old man they came to see. It’s even sweeter when you realize that grandpa spends a lot of time with his granddaughters. How many hours a day do you think they spend practicing and just being together?

China is one of the world’s great cradles of civilization, with so much diversity and influence on other cultures. Glad to see grandpa reaching out to the world with his crazy good dancing!
What’s grandpa’s secret for staying so lithe and light on his feet? That’s anybody’s guess. A proper diet, consistent workouts… An elixir or maybe the fountain of youth?
“Grandpa has got moves! One very cool grandpa, and the little ones are very accomplished.”
Yes, he certainly does.
Those little ones must be very proud to have such a cool grandpa. What happens after the dance? Well, grandpa must have taken those two little girls by the hand and led them to their favorite restaurant. Dancing burns a lot of energy. Grandpa’s treat!
Or perhaps there were treats waiting for them back home, prepared by none other than grandma herself.
Whatever the case, this is such a delightful moment to witness. How many grandpas can you say actively go out and join their grandkids for a bit of dancing fun under the sun? Well, in the east where the sun rises, you’ll find one of the coolest grandpas ever.
