4 Girls light up dance floor with sassy hip-hop routine

November 12th, 2020

Some people are just born with talent. Whether it’s singing, dancing, or acting, there are those who have a certain star quality from the start.

These four little girls from the UK are full of that bright and lively ability for dance that we all wish we could have.

I’m at least 20 years older than them and still can’t really cut a rug on the dance floor.

Every adoring parent has sat through one of their children’s dance recitals. Maybe they’ve even cried because they’re so proud of their little darling. But if we’re being honest, when your child leaves the stage, it’s a little underwhelming to watch the other kiddos.

Obviously no one could ever be as talented as your own child! And it’s often a lot of the same dance moves repeated for every group. Usually little ones aren’t exactly the most co-ordinated of people.

The best part is usually when something goes a little wrong. Or someone decides to go off on their own, abandon the routine and dance like no one’s watching like this hilarious little girl did.

But every now and then you get to witness some really talented little ones captivate an audience.

Little Lily, Lauren, Georgia, and Georgia, (yes, two of them share the same name) took to the dance floor for the Under Eight’s category for a dance competition in Essex.

Even though they’re young, their routine is impressive to watch and might be the cutest thing you see all day.

The four girls start crouched down, and are clearly looking a little anxious for the music to start. They can’t stay still and periodically take their eyes off the ground to look around at family members and friends.

But once the music starts, the nerves seem to go away. And they hop-to with confidence.

Dancing to a mix of pop and hip hop songs, the girls light up the dance floor.

Even their outfits are adorable, and are the perfect fit for the hip-hop routine they’re about to perform.

The girls are in matching pink crew neck sweaters with a printed boom box on the front, and loose grey track pants.

They have scrunchies in their hair and pink converse shoes – is there anything cuter than a child’s tiny shoe?

These girls are students at the Allanton’s street dance class called “Street Starz”. And they are little stars indeed! They also happen to be Street Starz youngest dance crew.

They’re full of energy and can even pull off some classic B-Boy moves on the dance floor.

They even get time for their own solos. One by one each girl takes a turn breaking away from the group for a moment to show off their freestyle moves.

The crowd is going wild and egging the girls on, and you can tell they’re loving every minute of it. But they brush it off like it’s nothing.

Their cute performance earned them first place in the competition, and the video has gained more than 40,000 views on YouTube.

That’s a lot of fans to have when you’re that young!

They’ve got such spirit and enthusiasm.
