Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 hit “Dreams” has been making an appearance in lots of viral videos on social media these days.

The song was featured on their 11th studio album Rumors. “Dreams” was the album’s second single released on March 24, 1977.

It was released as the third single in the U.K and is the band’s only number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

You might have heard the song recently resurface on social media sites like TikTok.

It went viral in a video made by Nathan Apodaca showing him drinking some Ocean Spray Cran-Rasberry juice and riding his skateboard down an Idaho highway and lip-syncing to the song.

People started streaming the song after hearing it in the viral video and it ended up on charts on Spotify and Apple Music in some countries.

It also went into rotation on some Top 40 U.S. radio stations. Apodaca’s post was seen more than 24.7 million times.

Fans of the video started sending Apodaca donations and he ended up taking in more than $10,000.

He says he’s going to give half to his mom, buy a new RV, and fix his busted car (the reason he was riding around on a skateboard).

Apodaca’s video even spurred Stevie Nicks, who sings the song, and Mick Fleetwood, the band’s co-founder, to do their own viral TikTok videos featuring the song.

Each of those videos also received millions of views.
