Have you ever heard about a dance style called “clogging”? If you haven’t heard of it yet, then you definitely need to watch this viral video of two girls who definitely took clogging to a whole new level!
In the 2013 Clogging Champions of America – Showdown of Champions held in Knoxville, Tennessee, two amazing ladies showed everyone how it is to properly and incredibly execute perfect clogging via a tandem dance that absolutely wowed their audience. It was a memorable performance that the crowd just can’t get enough of!
Sisters Madison and Morgan Mallum are inseparable. In fact, their bond is more than that of regular sisters because the two of them are members of a triplet! Their brother Monroe is the third member of their trio.
What makes the sisters’ bond even more special is that they all share a common love for dancing. In particular, the girls are in love with clogging and are definitely great at it! In fact, they have been taking up clogging since the age of five, which makes it more like second nature to them now that they are older.
Madison and Morgan are quite talented clog dancers and have been joining regional and national contests over the years. They are undoubtedly champions in this dance style!
They consistently take the stage by storm whenever they step on it, most especially when they dance together. In the 2013 Showdown of Champions, the duo proved once again that their modern take on clogging is nothing short of fantastic!
The routine they executed onstage was phenomenal! Hand in hand, the girls did some spectacular stunts, amazing moves and, of course, fabulous toe-tapping!
The crowd just keeps on cheering them on as they danced and tapped and amazed everyone with their marvelous number. The energy in the room as they performed is quite unreal!
Tapping their shoes to the tune of Keith Urban’s “Hit the Ground Runnin’,” Madison and Morgan made sure that they gave it their best shot on stage.
The harmony in their moves is just so superb. More than just their identical looks, the girls also showed everyone how to perfectly mirror each other’s excellent dance skills, resulting in a performance that highlights both of them and their incredible talent.
The girls may have made it look like clogging is easy, but believe me when I say that it isn’t.
This Irish-American style of dancing is complex and certainly requires effort, passion and true love for dancing.
Clogging is more than just tapping one’s heel or toes against a floor to make tapping sounds. It involves mastery, control and a lot of patience. Morgan and Madison learned all of these over their years of learning how to clog dance and we can definitely agree that all their years of hard work have paid off.
In the said showdown from 2013, the girls took home the title as champions, a recognition that they undoubtedly deserve.
