For aspiring artists, the city streets aren’t the best place to perform a song. These areas are usually crowded with people trying to get to work and run errands. Vehicle sounds also overwhelm the streets.
Mia Black didn’t have any problem getting city-goers’ attention when she decided to perform in a busy street.
In fact, people were already looking at her even before she started her performance. Some of them were even holding their phones and trying to record the 11-year-old’s performance.
Wearing her black winter coat, Mia started singing an Elvis Presley classic.
She chose the 1961 hit Can’t Help Falling In Love. It’s a song originally written for Blue Hawaii, an Elvis Presly hit movie.
After its initial release, the song managed to get on top of the British charts. There, it spent four weeks.
Because the song was such a hit, numerous artists recorded the song. The list includes Bob Dylan, A-Teens, and Tom Smothers. Even the Taiwanese boyband F4 did a cover of the song for one of their movies.
Mia’s unique voice gave the classic song a fresh and rejuvenating touch.
Her voice was light and soft. You wouldn’t even think that it’s coming from a girl her age.
She sang the song so well that almost everyone who watched her video has nothing but nice things to say about her and her performance.

Mia started singing at a very young age.
In fact, her dad heard her humming with a speakerphone dial tone since she was about 7 months old. At the age of 7, she’s already doing theatre musicals, concerts, and even weddings.
Her talent in singing isn’t a surprise. She was surrounded by musicians while growing up. Inspired by Ariana Grande, the little girl hopes to write good music with a good message someday. She’s also thinking of pursuing acting in the future.
