Sometimes, we just get so caught up in a show that we fail to notice what’s happening right before our eyes.
That’s when you know the show is good, when it’s too late for you to realize that it’s all for you.
The video begins with the bump and thump of a jazz soundtrack like the video uploader is on a mission. The whole scene happened at a park in Santiago de Compostela.
It was an afternoon like any other.
People are hanging out by the benches, chatting and basking in the afternoon sun. Some are jogging around to stay fit, and some are performing music.
But the camera began fixating on specific people. Firstly, it showed a man with giant speakers. Then, one by one, they showed young people, often in twos, walking around.
Suspicious, right?
Then, the camera focuses on two young ladies. But these aren’t just two unsuspecting members of the crowd. One of them knew what was about to happen.
The one in pink, though, will see a show she’ll never ever forget.
They sat on one of the benches along the main thoroughfare. They began chatting and hanging out when the speakers blared out.
The girl in pink was startled at first.
Then, a handful of the people shown on camera at the beginning started to take their positions right in front of the two girls.
The group showed off their dance moves with nimble moves and explosive steps.
At that point, the girl in pink was thinking it was their lucky day since they got the best seat in the house to enjoy the impromptu performance.
Then, just as she was getting caught up in the show, the music changed.
One of the performers handed her a scroll tied with a ribbon. Then, before she could even react, a man handed her a small bouquet of flowers.
She tried to make sense of what was happening but when the first notes of the song hit, she knew what was happening. It was “Marry You” by Bruno Mars.
The woman began sobbing.
In the middle of the performance, a tall man in a letterman jacket walked to the center of the formation, just behind the dancers.
At that moment, the woman finally had all the clues she needed. As for her friend, we all knew she was the one who baited her to be in this momentous event.
Her man dances a bit awkwardly but it shows how much he loves her.
Even if this isn’t his best skill and even if he needs the entire park for the gesture, he will go to all the lengths just to show her how much he means to him.
And in the final moment of the performance, the dancers helped him pop the magical words. The only question is, what would her answer be?
People all over the internet loved the gesture.
