For anyone who’s tried to dance and play a musical instrument at the same time, you know how challenging it is. Okay, you might be able to do it but more than likely, either the dance or the fiddle playing suffers. It takes talent to accomplish a feat like this.

In this particular video, you first see a then 23-year-old lady named Hillary Klug with blonde hair down to her waist wearing cut-off jean shorts, a tee-shirt, and cowboy boots. And don’t forget about the big buckle on her belt. She looks like a lot of women her age but with one exception…she’s super talented.
Starting things off
She immediately goes into the opening of Cotton Eyed Joe. She’s fiddling so fast it’s hard to keep up. But then, she begins to do a little bit of footwork. Initially, her clogging steps are pretty basic.

Within a short time, the camera zooms in on Hillary’s feet. That’s when you see she’s standing on a piece of wood to help capture the clogging sound. While she’s dancing, she doesn’t miss a beat on her fiddle.

Now, this fiddle player starts to add a few more complicated steps to her dance. And the entire time she’s playing, a smile never leaves her face. It’s obvious she’s having a blast. We could watch her all day.

When Hillary isn’t performing solo, she does gigs with two other musicians. Adding the sound of a guitar and banjo to the mix really takes the music to an entirely new level.

But the one thing that makes Hillary so unique is that she dances, too. When performing, she’s a ball of energy. She maintains the tempo throughout the song and never tires. This young lady is a magnificent performer.
