In all honesty, children can be quite demanding in public places sometimes.
We’ve all seen it at least once: a desperate parent trying to explain something to the disobedient kid and sweating with embarrassment. Then again, some kids are so disciplined and well-behaved. Whatever the case is, there’s no denying that children are adorable in all their many varieites. Take this girl, for example—her impromptu singing act made the whole McDonald’s happy!
Even when she starts, Mom seems so used to her girl’s singing.
It was an everyday scene: people eating at their tables and minding their own business. At one table, a cute little girl with adorable bangs is singing. She has an incredible voice, and it’s clear that her mom is obviously well aware of it—she doesn’t even blink as the girl pours her heart out, singing the hit song “And I Am Telling You.”
We love just how relaxed and spontaneous mom is!
Her attitude is like: “My baby loves to sing, I let her do it all the time.” The two didn’t even know that they were being filmed. You can see that the little singing surprise has left everyone in awe!
Little did the girl know that she was about to become a viral sensation over night!
The video description says that she was nine years old when the video was taken. Let us say, that voice sounds much more mature, her parents must be incredibly proud.
The girl is none other than Autumn Rae Shannon.
Six years after the video was shared millions of times, Autumn has blossomed into a lovely teenager. She’s 15 today, and the doors of the entertainment industry are wide open for her.
Rae Shannon’s YouTube account is full of interesting covers of some of the most popular artists including Bruno Mars, Pink, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, and Céline Dion.
It’s enough to say that Autumn successfully covered Etta James’ classic “At Last” in 2013, which brought her a lot of media attention.
She’s also appeared in the series Amber in the Shadows.
Her new album is coming out soon but she’s already released a couple of singles, namely “Every Christmas” and “I Wish I Could Fly.” Autumn is well on her way to stardom, and who wouldn’t root for such a lovely young lady?
Little Autumn is very confident—she sings from heart, and we love that she’s comfortable enough to perform in front of strangers at such a young age.

Since the clip was posted, it has earned more than half a million views. For quite some time, Autumn has been known as “girl in a restaurant” and “girl sings like a pro” in videos that were shared among millions of people.
No one knew her real name, but people loved her bubbly personality and extraordinary voice.
