Gary Clark Jr. is famous for adding some hip hop elements to his fusions of blues, rock and soul music.

For anyone who doesn’t know, Clark Jr. is a man who already shared the stage with Eric Clapton, B.B. King and the Rolling Stones. He’s definitely a professional bluesman in his own right, and he had no difficulties amazing the internet with this enjoyable blues jamming session in Berlin.

From the way he plays the guitar to how relaxed he is, we see that he’s a man who enjoys blues from the bottom of his being. That’s what makes a musician great, and the results are clear to see here. Being a blues guitarist, among other things, Clark Jr. has a unique skill of transcending a whole bunch of emotions through his guitar.

In just about three minutes, this talented musician shows us that the beauty of blues lies in its simplicity. His riffs are not fast or complex, but he nailed the feeling of blues perfectly. He plays in a raw, honest, and simple manner, one that anyone can easily relate to when you open up to it. When Clark Jr. played his solo, the world was glued to his music, amazed and speechless.

Clark Jr. has shown us the way to play blues with a lot of style.

Probably the most amazing thing is that he plays the Epiphone guitar, which is a less expensive model. It’s sure to motivate a lot of young musicians to keep up the good work. If there’s anything this video shows, it’s that it’s not about the instrument—it’s about the hard work and dedication that go into it. Clark Jr. seems to have his own style and he rocks it magnificently.

Gary Clark Jr. began playing guitar when he was 12 years old and soon had small gigs all Austin, where he’s originally from.

His career got a big boost of success after his encounter with guitarist Jimmie Vaughan. Vaughan said, “He was a kid, and his voice was the same as his guitar,” describing the way it felt when the two of them met for the first time. Rolling Stone declared Gary Clark Jr as the Best Young Gun in 2011, though he’s also had successful collaborations with numerous colleagues, including Alicia Keys, Childish Gambino, Foo Fighters, ZZ Ward, and Tom Morello.

Though the years, he’s also covered many iconic songs by other famous artists.

One of these famous songs includes “Come Together” by the Beatles. In 2020, he won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance for the song “This Land,” and is from his latest album of the same name. Needless to say, Clark Jr. is the type of musician who never fails to amaze!
