If you’ve never heard of the Fusion Fighter dancers, don’t feel bad. A lot of people haven’t. But once you see them perform, you’ll never forget the magic they create.
Introducing the Fusion Fighters
Just so you know, Fusion Fighters is a performance company. Although they’re grounded in Irish dance, these talented people infuse many different dance styles into their routines.
That’s what makes them so unique and exciting to watch.
A collaborated effort
Here’s another cool tidbit about the Fusion Fighters crew.
This group is comprised of more than 50 dancers, all of them professionals.
But there are also over 20 gifted musicians and literally hundreds of students from around the globe who make up this fantastic performance company.
Irish CLRG Dance World Championships
The Fusion Fighters crew competed at the CLRG Irish Dance World Championships.
With a reputation for their high energy and fancy footwork, the audience was eager to see them perform.
And let’s just say these dancers didn’t disappoint.
A big welcome
Before the music even starts, the crowd goes wild.
In a video that’s now been viewed more than 60,000 times, you can hear a burst of cheers.
The people attending the competition knew that something great was about to happen.
Spectacular opening
Then, the show begins. It starts with a violinist who’s on stage with the dancers playing a gorgeous tune
. The whole place goes silent, as the people attending the event don’t want to miss a single thing.
As she plays, the dancers stand perfectly still.
The fun begins
The four guys who competed in this particular competition all wore checkered kilts and ties to match. Then suddenly, one of the men in the front row starts to perform. He’s fast, precise, and super fun to watch.
The others join in
After a short solo, the rest of the dance crew joins in.
Just like the first man, they’re all incredibly accurate with every move.
And their feet fly so fast, you have to pay close attention to catch everything they do.
Throughout their performance, these guys do a lot of original Irish dance moves. But they also stop their feet, twist around, and clap their hands.
With everything combined, it’s truly something phenomenal to watch.
Then, the guy who did the first solo steps up to do yet another one. But this time … his feet go even faster.
The coolest parts are that they’re all standing on a hard platform so the audience can hear every tap of their shoes and the bongo player sitting off to the side who keeps a perfect beat.
Not only did this dance crew rank high in the finals but they also left the audience with something they’ll never forget.
From the start of the video to the end, these guys had so much energy.
But even with the fast-paced music, they nailed every move of the routine.
Remember, this is just a small number of the members of the performance company, which consists of both guys and gals.
So, you can only imagine how amazing the rest of them are.
When it comes to talent, especially in Irish dance, the Fusion Fighters are true stars.
